Early AM

I have had a really hard time at work lately.   But my mood has improved greatly over the past few days...well in the morning...I find it is still deteriorating as crap gets loaded on!  But I digress.  I am attributing my decent mood to simply getting up earlier and finishing a short routine...some yoga, meditation, reading...and early to the office to tackle a few things off my list. 

I am writing this as a reminder to self.  You know what you need to do to have a good day.  Now do it.

almost half-time

I read a section in one of my self-help books today that talked about the importance of half-time.  How this was the time to see if you were on track or falling behind.  I'm not quite at half-time yet but it's on my mind. 

I have been making an effort while I am on this work assignment to try and get done what I can...especially without my master tracker - I am at a loss to know exactly where I am.   But I do know that there are a few areas that I can improve on. So i will try that...and while my half-time report will be delayed...I am confident that I will be over 50% of the way to my goal!

Progress on "perfection"

I am proud that of the progress that I have made over the past few weeks.  I have modified my "perfect day" lists and divided them into sections...this has helped me develop a routine.  I have the morning and evening routine down pat...the daily to-dos are a bit of a struggle but I have found that my stopping midday and sort of checking in to make sure I am on track...I am checking off the list every night. 

I read a book a long time ago on Habit Stacking...very simply...do the same things in small chunks of that time, at the same time every day.  Now I know that after I meditate I will plank.  It's becoming sort of second habit.  I am hoping that when I have a better grasp on this I can build on these 'stacks'
